Meals on Wheels of Syracuse is proud to announce our New Executive Director, Beth Hurny-Fricano.
The Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels of Syracuse (MOWS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Beth Hurny-Fricano as the organization’s next Executive Director. She will succeed Mason Kaufman, who is retiring in April after decades of dedicated service.
Beth brings over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience in the Syracuse area. Most recently, she served as Director of Clinical Services at ARISE Child and Family Services, Inc., where she played a key role on the senior leadership team. Previously, she was the Executive Director of Prevention Network, working to strengthen community-based support systems.
With a deep commitment to human services, Beth is eager to further the Meals on Wheels of Syracuse mission of delivering nutritious meals and critical social connections to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities. “I am honored to join Meals on Wheels of Syracuse and continue its legacy of ensuring no one in our community faces hunger or isolation alone,” said Hurny-Fricano. “The power of a knock goes far beyond food—it brings comfort, companionship, and peace of mind.”
The Meals on Wheels of Syracuse Board of Directors warmly welcomes Beth Hurny- Fricano and looks forward to her leadership in expanding the organization’s reach and impact.
